Enrollment

Students who are new to San Pasqual Valley Unified School District or who are returning to SPVUSD from another school district will need to provide the following documentation:
The following is required to register a student:
 
  • To prove age, Education Code section 48002 permits school to accept the following:
    • Certified copy of birth record
    • Statement by the local registrar or county recorder certifying the date of birth
    • Baptism certificate
    • Passport
    • When none of the foregoing is obtainable, an affidavit of the parent, guardian, or custodian, or any other appropriate means of proving the child’s age.
  • Shot records – grades 7-12 must have TDAP shot
  • Residency-2 forms of residency are required (for example):
    • Property tax payment receipts
    • Rental property contract, lease, or payment receipts
    • Utility service contract, statements, or payment receipts
    • Pay stubs
    • Voter registration
    • Correspondence from a government agency
    • Declaration of residency executed by the parent or legal guardian of the student
  • Transcript-or report card, anything from the other school to show where to place student
 
Current San Pasqual students will need to fill out a new registration packet and provide proof of their current physical address.
